IN THE NORTHERN PART OF CYPRUS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE TURKISH
REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS IS THE EXCLUSIVE SOLE AND LEGIMATE
AUTHORITY REPRESENTING THE TURKISH CYPRIOT PEOPLE.
IT FOLLOWS FROM THE ABOVE THAT THE GREEK CYPRIOT ADMINISTRATION OF
SOUTHERN CYPRUS HAS NO JURISDICTION OVER THE TERRITORY AND
NATIONAL AIRSPACE, AS WELL AS OVER THE ERCAN AIRSPACE OF TRNC.
AS A RESULT, THE GOVERNMENT OF TRNC IS THE ONLY COMPETENT
AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE AIR TRAFFIC AND AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION
SERVICES AS WELL AS TO CO-ORDINATE RELEVANT ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE
LIMITS OF ERCAN AIRSPACE.
THEREFORE, ALL DCTS IMPLEMENTED UNILATERALY OVER THE HIGH SEAS AND
PORTIONS OF AWYS M/UM13 PASSING THROUGH SOVEREIGN AIRSPACE AND
TERRITORIAL WATERS OF TRNC, SHOULD BE CONSIDERED NULL AND VOID AND
AIRSPACE USERS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED NOT TO FLIGHT PLAN OR USE.)

EMERGENCY CHANNELS AND TRANSMITTING CONFUSING TRAFFIC INFORMATION
MESSAGES WHICH JEOPARDIZE THE FLIGHT SAFETY AND ENDANGER THE LIVES
OF PASSENGERS AND CREW OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING AT AND TAKING OFF
FROM ERCAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AS WELL AS FLYING WITHIN ERCAN

THAT BOTH FACILITIES ARE IN CONFORMITY WITH THE ICAO RULES AND
PROVISIONS AND THE PERIODICAL FLIGHT INSPECTION,CALIBRATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED FACILITIES ARE DULY CARRIES OUT
BY THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES.THE LATEST FLIGHT CALIBRATION REPORTS
CONFIRM THAT BOTH NAVAIDS ARE FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH INTERNATIONAL
STANDARTS.
